Construction has commenced on a new four-story, 200,000 square foot Class A mixed-use office and retail building within Metro Centre, a new Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) located within the Owings Mills Town Center section of Baltimore County. The new building, which is expected to be completed in summer 2016 is part of the 1.2 million square feet of office space that will be included in the final development. Metro Centre at Owings Mills is being developed by Owings Mills Transit, LLC and David S. Brown Enterprises, LTD is the site manager.

 

Metro Centre at Owings Mills currently consists of two five-story retail and residential buildings, which cumulatively contain 56,000 square feet of retail space on the ground floor and 232 market-rate apartment homes on the upper four floors. It also includes the 120,000 square foot County Campus building, which is comprised of the largest branch of the Baltimore County Public Library and a new satellite location of the Community College of Baltimore.
